LUXURY IS NOT A NECESSITY TO ME,
BUT BEAUTIFUL AND GOOD THINGS ARE.

–Anais Nin

I love this quote from Anais Nin because it resonates so well with how I define my business, and even my life.

Hi there. I'm Pam Brown, the owner and graphic designer of Joie Luxe Studio, going on sweet 16 years now. My design background experience is a compilation of starting my career in Milwaukee at a couple of ad agencies designing publications, to working in the art department at Kohl's Department Stores as a layout artist; and then the big move to Tampa working as a graphic designer on international cruiselines catalogs at one of the largest ad agencies in the Southeast. Years later, an even bigger move to settling down, planting roots in San Diego and flourishing in branding design for my own clients.

Lifestyle brands are what I've gravitated towards and enjoy working on the most; from logo designs, brand identity systems and guidelines, to website design and development, to marketing materials, conference materials, even package design and infographics. My illustration and typography design is an added perk for the projects. I love creating the whole brand experience!

Think of me as Your Brand Image Stylist. You wonder, what does that mean? From our discovery sessions together about your business, your goals, vibe, voice and vision, I create smart designs that make your brand shine to your target audience, your tribe. I'm involved 100% every step of the way, working in partnership with you – because your success is my ultimate goal.

Pam has been the lead designer for International Bipolar Foundation for over three years. She is professional, timely, and her level of creativity is exceptional. Pam has produced our marketing brochures, fundraiser invitation packages, speaker luncheon invitation packages, and business cards.

READY, SET, GO!

You've made up your mind to to start the process, but what's next?

How does it all come about? How long will it take?

Good questions! The first and obvious thing is to have your company name and domain registered. The next best thing is to have a business plan written up which contains your mission, objectives, and goals. These are very helpful and are crucial elements in order to proceed with designing your brand image.

The process of creating a brand image is {fairly} simple when it's broken down into steps.

RESEARCH & DISCOVERY
The who, what, when, and how are defined  |  1-2 weeks

Pam Brown is one talented senior graphic designer! She created brand guidelines for one of our new projects and we were all extremely impressed. Her work is creative and cutting-edge. Not only that, but Pam is easy to work with—flexible and responsive to our changing needs.
